  • Abstract
    Satellite sensor network has been introduced by combining the advantages of satellite communication network and wireless sensor network, which aims to settle out the long-distance transmission of collective information. However, it is quite a troublesome problem of that how to ensure efficient and reliable data transmission using traditional transport layer protocols. In this paper, we propose a DTN bundle layer implementation for the throughput enhancement in satellite network and a further promotion for the whole satellite sensor network. On the basis of UDP, a new logical layer named bundle is added above the transport layer in the business enhancement gateway designed by ourselves, which solves the problem of data transmission in satellite links efficiently. It is shown by the simulation that the bundle implementation can enhance the average throughput of the whole work evidently.
