Abstract :
Diffraction grating transducers produce beams at different angles, allowing angle-independent Doppler measurements to be made. Here, various aspects of using these transducers in a practical system are considered. These aspects include multiplex operation, whereby multiple beams are transmitted and received using a simple and inexpensive implementation, and an investigation of what are the limitations in measurement accuracy that arise from the particular characteristics of this method and transducer
