Abstract
This paper analyzes the influence of regional economic (except for Qinghai, Tibet) development on the scale and speed of higher education by the use of co-integration theory, and it makes the whole empirical analysis all the region´s economic growth rate and speed of the development of higher education, the promotion of coordination of higher education and economic development.
