  • Abstract
In this paper, the Petri nets, which own the perfect ability of modeling, are used to establish the transformer faults diagnosis model. It states the algorithm mould with the use of the Petri nets´ knowledge and reasoning, and indicates the relevance between breakdown features and fault location. A resolution is also presented to solve the collision caused by the similar faults indication of the different faults. The calculation is simple, and the fast diagnosis can be achieved by this resolution. Furthermore, two concrete examples are used to indicate the accuracy and quickness of the Petri nets fault diagnosis model.
