  • Abstract
A key technique of wireless sensor networks is time synchronization. This article introduces the definition of time synchronization and suggests a guideline for designing the time synchronization protocol in WSNs, through analyzing the characteristics of the existing typical synchronization protocols and making a comprehensive comparison of the performance of various algorithms.
