Line loss management embodies the integrated management level of the power supply enterprise, which covers the integrated management of line loss and the management of line construction, production operation, marketing, electric energy measurement, and new technology of loss reduction. Line loss management involves lots of specific work, which includes perfecting organizational control system, specifying the duty, improving various line loss management systems, perfecting appraisal-stimulating system and the management system which includes indicators of establishment, statistics, analysis and appraisal, improving marketing management and measurement management, strengthening the analysis and control of fluctuating elements of line loss, increasing the application of loss reduction, improving the calculation of line loss theory and analysis, clarify the aim of loss reduction, ensuring the economic power dispatch and operation, improving line loss training management and the quality of the personnel. Carrying out the work of line loss management efficiently and orderly ensure the optimization of line loss indicator, reduction of power loss; therefore bring huge benefits to the power supply enterprise.
