Abstract :
Thermal storage is one of the most successful forms of energy storage, with many thousands of installations throughout the world. It is economically justifiable on its own merits, depending primarily on demand and time-of-day utility rate mechanisms. Thermal storage for cooling application has received the greatest commercial interest with a broad base of manufacturing, utility and industry support.
