Abstract :
A key problem of OFDM is its sensitivity to frequency offset between the transmitted and received carrier frequencies. This carrier frequency offset introduces inter-carrier interference (ICI) in the OFDM symbol, furthermore leads the performance of system to be worse. In this paper, performances of parallel interference cancellation (PIC) and the standard VBLAST algorithm for MIMO-OFDM system is analyzed and compared by computer simulation. The simulation result indicates that when the carrier frequency offset normalized is bigger than 0.2, the increasing of signal-to-noise ratio don´t improve the performance of system.
