Abstract
This work shows a simple method to damp oscillations using Wind Power System Stabilizer applied to three wind parks. The proposed control is evaluated performing several simulations on modified version of 10-generator, 39-bus New England power system. The simulation represent a three-phase short-circuit, and the design control system is applied with different gains. The coordination of the wind power system stabilizer gain is carried out through modal decomposition.
