Abstract :
Co-firing biomass with coal is one of the most important measures for environmental protection and energy sources sustainable development. In this study, some low-temperature pyrolyzed experiments on three common biomass of China (e.g., sawdust, rice hull, and peanut shell) are carried out firstly under different temperature and different time. Then, the combustion, slagging, fouling and abrasiveness performances of above pyrolyzed products and their co-firing with coals are analyzed respectively. Finally, a brief pollution and economic appraisal of the co-firing is suggested.
