  • Abstract
    A novel clustering algorithm based on Global Positioning System (GPS) of the mobile ad hoc network is presented in this paper. In the initial clustering period, the geographic grid of nodes is used and the clustering becomes reasonable. In the cluster maintenance, the candidate cluster head is introduced into cluster management, which makes the clustering in the mobile ad hoc network stable and reliable. The mobility management system of the mobile ad hoc network based on this algorithm can track and display real-time position information of the network nodes on the maps, and solve the problems of the mobility management caused by node movement..
