  • Abstract
The paper introduces a new biasing method for a CCII based precision full wave rectifier. The proposed method has been investigated by SPICE simulation and by breadboarding the circuit. The obtained results are in good agreement with the theoretically expected results. The circuit performs very well at high frequencies and exhibits significant improvements in terms of cost, temperature stability, reduced output offset and simplicity of output offset control when compared with previously reported design. Although the design is based on a system-level approach, the architecture described is ideally suited for a monolithic implementation
