Abstract
The paper presents an efficient and accurate design of phased arrays of aperture-coupled microstrip patch elements under consideration of the mutual coupling and the finiteness of the array. The predicted performance of an 8Ã8 element and an 8Ã8 element antenna array for radar applications in C-band are presented and compared with measuremnts.
