Abstract :
The first samples of an K-range Earth station have been developed on the base of a Ukrainian technology. The transmission rate is up to 256 kb/s with a possible raising it up to 2048 kb/s. The stations meet 725 - 729 IRCC requirements. The stations operate through a satellite repeater located on the geostationary, orbit The basic performance are listed below. Swapping between receiving-transmitting unit and modem is realized in form of a Serial binar code with receiving-transmission speed 4 K/sec with TTL levels. In the process of swapping modem commands are following to execute corresponding operations by means of executive assemblies of receiving-transmitting unit. Information from the receiving-transmitting unit is as follows: ¿ generalized emergency signal ¿ information about state of receiveing-transmitting section and synthesizer ¿ information about state of power system ¿ confirmation of the modem commands implementation. Control of supplying voltage and information about basic constituent parts of the unit are carried out by commands of the operator. Generalized emergency signal confirmation of the command implementation are realized automatically.
