Abstract :
Supercontinuum generation and Dispersion properties of photonic crystal fiber made from highly nonlinear chalcogenide glass which have higher nonlinear refractive index with respect to silica glass, are investigated here. We have achieved a broadband source at the mid infrared region with these photonic crystal fibers. The structure has been optimized to, reach at preferable zero dispersion wavelengths with high nonlinearity for the dedicated application. of broadband generation. Also we have made a comparison using different type of photonic crystal fibers with respect to their transverse structures.
