Providing assessment services to an e-learning platform using OpenSocial gadgets

Traditional learning uses to take advantage of on-line services for sharing information, chat and schedule agendas. For two years we have been using a Web-based e-learning platform called BeA centred on assisting the evaluation of traditional exams (i.e. handwritten examinations). The platform allows students to check their evaluated handwritten exams using any Web browser. Students can see their final score and a detailed description of their mistakes remotely. In this document we present our efforts on to provide a new interface to this platform by using OpenSocial gadgets, created in the Pi2E project.
