Abstract :
The static H output feedback problem will be considered in this paper for both the continuous time and the discrete time case. In this approach, there are no conditions on the direct feedthrough terms from the disturbance input signal and the control input signal to the output signal. It turns out that the H control problems are solvable by static output feedback controllers if and only if there exists positive semidefinite solutions to two certain quadratic matrix inequalities
