  • Abstract
    An intelligent temperature control strategy for different heating segments is proposed based on the characteristic analysis of natural gas reheating furnace of titanium. According to errors between the furnace temperature´s measured value and the goal value, a fuzzy controller is used to regulate the nature gas flux. Then the number of the flame burner is determined with expert control method. On the other hand, a method of fuzzy rules is applied to control the atmosphere of reheating furnace according to the change of nature gas flux and measured oxygen content. The temperature control system for natural gas furnace has been established in a titanium enterprise, and the results of real-word application proved the effectiveness of this method.
