Abstract :
Describes a new approach for detecting faults in systems in the presence of modeling uncertainty. The authors´ approach is interactive and relies on processing true time domain system measurement data, to determine whether or not the system is operating within an expected range of behaviors. The authors´ results are applicable to either open or closed loop systems and can be implemented in a numerically efficient fashion
