Abstract :
Welcome to the 4th edition of the International Conference on Next Generation Networks and Services (NGNS´12, www.e-ngn.org/ngns12). Next Generation Networks (NGNs) are nowadays one of the main topics of research and development in the networking arena. The migration towards Next Generation Networks will bring about major changes to network architectures and services: new protocols, new architectures, etc. NGNs will have a high impact on the future of computing and communications as networks converge and this will allow the deployment of more advanced services.
