Abstract :
This work aims to extract optical parameters of coastal sea water by fitting the hyperspectral reflectance spectra acquired from the Hyperion instrument on-board the EO-1 satellite to a coupled sea water reflectance and atmospheric transmission model. This method is able to retrieve the absorption and scattering coefficients of the various components of coastal sea water.
