Abstract :
We consider the problem of exact observability of the linear hyperbolic equation with time-varying coefficients under internal finite dimensional moving observations. Two types of scanning observations are considered and the existence of spatial curves and set-valued maps for sensors that ensure exact observability is established. The techniques involved are related to the construction of suitable skeletons for required observation curves and maps
