Abstract :
Intrachannel crosstalk is suppressed in multichannel semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs) using nonlinear state-space control methods. Optical input power is related to source voltage, which is used regulate the gain with an optical control channel. Our model opens the way to robust optoelectronic control of SOAs.
