Abstract
To improve student´s cultural tastes and humanities, while cultivate their entrepreneurship and innovation, we developed a school-based curriculum: Introduction to Zhejiang Business Culture. Development program, ideas, content, and features of the curriculum were first introduced. Then effectiveness was evaluated by questionnaire investigation after the implementation of the curriculum. Results show that more than half of the students felt their employment ability was improved greatly. 47% students agreed that their entrepreneurial inspiration was inspired. 50% students agreed that their rational thinking was enhanced; 48% students think it raised their entrepreneurial knowledge. 58% students believed that the curriculum trained their self-confidence, self-improvement, self-reliance of the entrepreneurial spirit. Practice shows that School-based curriculum is a useful supplement to planning curriculums. It is advantageous to achieve school´s philosophy and characteristics by using local cultural resources to educate students.
