            Abstract : 
In this paper, a novel transformer monitoring system is presented. This system combines expert system and neural network system, which improves the accuracy of fault diagnosis, monitor the trends of the condition of power transformer, timely detect transformer failure, avoid power outages accidents, and improve supply reliability. A wireless communication method to transmit the signal collected from transformer was designed to overcome the limitations of cable transmission, because of the difficult for cabling in the remote areas.
