Abstract
An accelerated soft-output sphere decoding algorithm is proposed for multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) system with vertical Bell Labs layered space-time (V-BLAST) structure. Combined with low-density parity-check (LDPC) code, the performance and complexity of the proposed algorithm are simulated and compared with the classical soft-output sphere decoding algorithm. As the simulation results show, the accelerated algorithm has obvious complexity reduction at the cost of little performance losses.
