Abstract
We report a significant decrease of the time and storage required for the simulation of large microstrip antennas via the solution of the Electric Field Integarl Equation (EFIE). The solution is obtained using the Fast Mutipole Method (FMM) with an iterative solver. We show storage and timing data required for the simulation of a 30 element linear microstrip diploe antenna array. This is the first report of the use of the FMM for microstrip antennas.
