Abstract
In this paper, the authors reported the success in tuning the emission frequency of a THz QCL to lower frequencies (-0.5 THz) by increasing the thicknesses of every well and barrier proportionally. It can be an important approach to obtain stable single mode terahertz sources at specific frequencies, which is important to applications such as heterodyne detection systems.
