Abstract :
A hypercube-based network with high reliability and fault-tolerance capabilities is proposed and analyzed. The network is constructed by adding some redundant links to the structure of the standard hypercube. It is shown that communication link reliability and path reliability in the new network are substantially better than those of the standard hypercube. This improvement is obtained only at the expense of an asymptotically zero overhead
