  • Abstract
The attitude of an object in space can be determined based on a single 2-dimension view through digital image processing, which utilizes mapping relationships among world, camera, and image coordinates. The key to apply this technique to distance measure system of traffic accident is to detect a calibrate plate, which acts as a measure ruler. By this mean all kinds of data that are used to deal with accidents can be achieved through calculations. An adaptive method of detecting the calibrate plate in single view traffic accident distance measure system is given in this paper.
