Abstract :
This paper illustrates how the files of data created during an initial design process can be accessed by other software modules to produce manufacturing specifications, costed bills of material, sales quotations and advanced design analysis. The paper also emphasizes the time savings due to the reduction of duplicate data input and the elimination of errors incurred by the manual transcription of data
