Abstract
Many studies for the ITS (intelligent transport system) have been done toward safe and smooth driving without traffic accidents. As one of the inter-vehicle communication systems, an inter-vehicle communication and ranging system using spread spectrum Technique called the Boomerang transmission system has been proposed. We report simulation results of the Boomerang transmission system against several interference waves. In these simulations, we compare hard-limiters, linear-amplifiers and soft-limiters using the sigmoid function as an amplifier method. From simulation results, we show the effectiveness of the Boomerang transmission system in some situations that several interference waves exist
