Abstract :
This paper presents an improved suboptimum PTS algorithm controlling the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) of the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signals. The proposed algorithm reduces the computational complexity by changing the search tactics of the phase factors. Comparing with Kwon´s sub-optimum PTS algorithm, the proposed algorithm can get better performance of PAPR without increasing computation and the improving effect is getting better with the increasing of the number of phase factor. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
