Abstract :
Based on an extensive survey of the disease of embankment in the loess regions, this paper first analyzes its causes, and then proposes some reasonable and effective preventive measures in design and construction according to the special characteristics of loess and the embankment. These measures can effectively reduce or avoid the occurrence of the disease of embankment, thus providing a reference for its prevention in the loess regions.
