Abstract :
The asymptotic capacity of a communication system with m transmit and n receive antennas is derived in the case where the channel is known at the receiver only. Then, the general expression of the capacity when the channel is also known to the transmitter is presented. The asymptotic capacity is also presented in that case. Finally, the optimal processing at the transmitter required to achieve that capacity is determined
