Abstract
For the search on the response of bridge structure at the moment when one suspender of the through arch bridge sudden failure, based on the previous study for the vibration of the structural with continuous distribution characteristics, the paper derived bridge structure vibration equation which under the impact of a broken cable, and using finite element analysis software, simulates and calculates the response of bridge structure of short-length, medium-length, long-length three kinds of suspender, respectively, at the moment of one suspender sudden broken. Compares and analyzes the maximum of internal force and displacement of arch rib of the remaining suspenders, stress and variable quantity of displacement of floor system, discovers the unfavourable mechanical region when the different suspender broken.
