Abstract :
For the search on the impact to bridge span structure due to sudden broken of arch bridge suspender, the paper aim at the parallel double suspender system, use finite element analysis software to simulate and calculate that in short-length, medium-length, long-length three kinds of suspender system, when one suspender sudden break, the impact effect endured by another suspender at the same hoisting point and the arch ribs, bridge deck structure which connected to broken suspender. The paper also discuss the value of impact coefficient of broken suspender, provide theoretical basis for the design of failure safety suspender.
