    Using Pyris 1 TGA produced in America Perkin Elmer Company, experimental studies on different diameter coal pyrolysis were carried out by non-isothermal thermogravimetric analysis. The studies show that the pyrolytic process of coal can be divided into four stages ,the heating rate and coal diameter have important effect on pyrolysis curve, and use the release property index to represent the coal pyrolysis property. Study the coal pyrolysis process by pyrolysis reaction dynamics equation , the calculation result show that the pyrolysis kinetics parameters can be good to reflect the pyrolysis condition.
