Abstract :
Why do foreign banks enter China? Is this entry related to China´s economic growth and financial policy? Using the statistics data from 1991 to 2008, this paper carries out an empirical study on influencing factors of foreign banks entry in China, and finds that there is a significant positive correlation between the growth of FDI as well as import and export trade and total assets of foreign banks in China. The demonstration also shows that the financial control policy has significant influence on foreign banks entry.
