Abstract :
In this paper, we study the synchronization problem for complex dynamical networks with asynchronous communications. It is shown that even if communications only take place at discrete time instants, nodes in the network can synchronize with a desired orbit under the designed impulsive controller. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient condition for globally asymptotical synchronization is proposed. Finally, a typical network consisting of chaotic Chen systems with nearest-neighbor coupling is given as an example to verify the criteria.
