Abstract
A theoretical model is built to calculate the location of fluid stratified interface in density lock, and is verified experimentally .Then the effects of grid shape and grid size on the interface location are discussed, respectively. Interface location is independent of grid shape, but the larger grid size responds to the lower interface location.
