  • Abstract
The anonymous security in MANETs has drawn more attention in the military and commercial applications. In the current anonymous routing protocols, the trapdoor used to hide the destination ID is encrypted by symmetric key due to its efficiency. However there exist limitations in their symmetric key anonymous negotiation. We proposed a novel protocol based on IBE cryptosystem to negotiate the shared key. It innovatively constructs the trapdoor using bilinear map to hide the destination ID. And the source node can randomly generate and update the pseudo public key and private key to hide itself true ID. We proved that it is an anonymous, effective and secure protocol through analysis and comparison with other methods. It is mentioned that our method can also be to construct the trapdoor used in the anonymous route discovery phase.
