Abstract
A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an output endowing an input-state system with a simple structure at infinity is established. It gives a sufficient condition for a system with m inputs and m+1 states to be flat, hence linearizable by dynamic feedback, generalizing a result holding for affine systems
