Abstract :
As city heating gradually turns to central heating, how to improve the service quality of heating units becomes particularly important. The remote video surveillance system uses portables to keep an eye on heating scene in away. In this paper, we use remote surveillance solutions for the central heating system. And the system realizes real-time inspection of customer service staff. In view of the camera image acquisition and transmission, we proposed a remote monitoring strategy based on Windows XP. We use the Open Source Computer Vision Library (OpenCV) as a base for video capture support. And the Socket Network Programming is used for image data transfer. Experiments show that the strategy is reliable and effective.
