Abstract
It is an important issue to evaluate the performance of commercial banks. Based on the balanced scorecard, this paper introduces a performance evaluation index system. By using the multi-criteria group decision making model that combines the numerical and linguistic information, the paper gives the decision making process to choose the best bank. The computational process is illustrated by an example.
