Abstract :
This paper outlines the developments in the use of plastic membranes for the protection of personnel, plant and equipment from airborne and particulate contamination and the use of welded fabrication plastic isolators and tents for containment and control of particulate and airborne Be and T contamination. Examples of manufactured items are presented along with specialised fabrications and new material and design developments
