Abstract :
The effect of IBAC on nitrogen removal was conducted and a mechanism of nitrogen removal was put forward. The results showed that the removal of ammonia and total nitrogen were 90% and 43.91% respectively when 03 dosage was 5.2 mg/l and hydraulic retention time was 41 min, alkalinity and 03 dosage affected nitrogen removal efficiency, combined reaction of microbe, physical chemistry and biochemistry can enhance the nitrogen removal.
