Abstract :
The effect of Ultra-wide Band (UWB) pulse on a typical electronic system with long signal transmission lines has been studied. Three kinds of equipment state will appear in the UWB environment. It has been found that the transmission line is the main coupling path of the UWB energy entering the system. The changing law of coupling voltage with polarization direction, the distance of source and the length of transmission line is obtained. The research is beneficial for taking measures to improve the electromagnetic protection ability of the electronic system.
