Abstract :
We report a high sensitive (FWHM~50nm) microcavity comprising a metal-dielectric-metal (MDM) geometry with omnidirectional resonance behavior theoretically and experimentally. Applications of such a microcavity for angle-insensitive high resolution spectrum filters will be presented.
