  • Abstract
    Based on critical chain theory, a new method for aircraft development project was proposed on assembly task scheduling, which can effectively improve flexibility of assembly scheduling scheme. In the method, the priority rules for critical chain identification was established by the three characteristic parameters, and then the algorithm steps which identifies critical chain was listed by project network planning. Afterwards, a buffer setting method based on elasticity coefficient was utilized in improving flexibility of scheduling scheme, which can absorb duration fluctuation and avoid rescheduling situations. In addition, the application of the aircraft wing assembly was introduced, and the result demonstrated the functionality of the method.
